The Venue
The Hills of Avalon has been hosting weddings and events since 2008 and underwent a full remodel in 2020. Perched on a hilltop, the property naturally benefits from cross breezes and sunsets that make it a perfect year-round setting for any photo shoot, event, or celebration.
Flexibility is at the heart of what we offer. Whether you prefer the elegance of a fully indoor event or want to take advantage of the outdoor patio areas, fire pits, and bar, there is something for everyone. The property also features nearby groves of trees and a twelve-acre private lake, perfect for outdoor gatherings with a little more room to breathe.
Our exclusive partnership with Vestals Catering takes your event well beyond a typical ranch gathering. And because Avalon is an unincorporated community in Ellis County, free from many of the restrictions of a big city, your event can be as distinctive and customized as you want, including helicopters, hot air balloons, drones, and fireworks.
About the Venue
The Property
The Hills of Avalon is situated on the T Bar 21 Ranch, a real working cattle ranch with sixty-seven rolling acres, a twelve-acre private lake, and a pond tucked into the landscape. Wide open land, big sky, and seclusion combine to make your event feel like it's happening in its own little world.
The Venue Space
Our indoor venue features 24-foot ceilings, a statement chandelier, and natural light throughout, with 180 degree views overlooking hundreds of rolling acres. Comfortably hosts up to 150 guests for ceremonies, receptions, or both.
Outdoor Spaces
Lakeside ceremony sites, open acreage for tents and additional seating, fire pits, and multiple patios with an outdoor beverage bar give space to breathe, gather, and make the event your own. Given our large outdoor space, we can accommodate unique requests. We partner with an in-house pyrotechnics team, so a fireworks finale is a simple addition to your day. We have not only the airspace and acreage to handle fireworks, but we can accommodate drone shows, helicopter arrivals, hot air balloon landings...you name it!
